This package offers short excerpts from classic and contemporary children's literature for use in the classroom in grammar analysis. Using a template of the grammar symbols, the students trace the symbols above the words as they study sections of such works as A Wrinkle in Time, Charlotte's Web, Rascal, and more. Each selection is provided in triple-spaced form on its own page. The teacher uses the master set to provide work papers for each child on his or her own level.

Excerpts are carefully selected to represent the style and content of each book while providing exercises that can be successfully analyzed using the nine grammatical symbols. Answer keys (reduced size) are provided.
