These charts are printed in full color on laminated, no-glare poster weight paper, ready to mount on the classroom wall. The grammar symbols are listed in an easily referenced format.
Level One for ages 6-9 (#G9): Each of the nine basic parts of speech and its symbol is followed by an example from a sentence. The sentence builds as the chart progresses; the new part of speech is italicized.
Level Two for ages 9-12 (#G10): The second level grammar chart provides a quick student and teacher reference, particularly to the kinds of nouns and verbals.
This laminated chart guides the student independently through a series of questions for grammatical analysis. By answering "yes"'or "no" to questions about a word being analyzed, the student is led to the function of the word and its part of speech. Symbols are hand- colored on one side and are omitted on the reverse.
